The staff of the department sincerely congratulates the clinical resident Elifasi Godfrey Mrita on graduation.
Dr. Mrita came to SSU from faraway Tanzania, where he worked at the Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute (Dar es Salaam).
Three years of study passed very quickly, but left a strong mark in the history of our department. Dr. Mrita co-authored the textbook Self-massage; Types and methods of execution. “, Medical recommendations” Modern methods of treatment of osteochondrosis of the cervical spine: guidelines “Modern methods of treatment of cervical spine osteochondrosis: guidelines” for medical students, has participated in many national and international scientific conferences.
He took part in the supervision of patients in the orthopedic and traumatology department of Sumy Central Clinical Hospital and Sumy Medical and Diagnostic Vertebrological Center. Together with the head he took part in conducting rounds, clinical examinations, consultations. During his studies, Dr. Mrita repeatedly assisted the doctors of the orthopedic department in surgical operations, night shifts and consultations with orthopedic patients.
Dr. Mrita became part of our team outside of training. We hope that there will be long memories of kayaking on the river Psel, and a very interesting trip to the city of Putivl, and a walk through the Cretaceous mountains of Mogrytsia and many other moments of cathedral life.
