Department of Surgery, Traumatology, Orthopedics and Phthisiology is a pedagogical and scientific department of the Medical Institute of Sumy State University. The main task of the department is to train doctors according to the principles of national medicine and European standards. At the department students are taught in Ukrainian and English.
Staff of the department: 3 professors, 10 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer, 9 assistants, 3 senior laboratory assistants, 2 laboratory assistants, 2 preparators.
